      It’s Our (Improv) Jam
      Hosted by Steven Lyons

Join us for a welcoming event where the line between audience and performer blurs—because the audience are the performers! Whether you're a seasoned improviser or just curious, It’s Our (Improv) Jam is for you. Led by Steven Lyons (Taskmaster NZ & 7 Days warm-up), the jam features spontaneous short games and scenes guided by audience participation. Feel free to jump in and collaborate with fellow improvisers, or simply sit back and enjoy the fun. All skill levels are welcome, and participation is completely optional—so yes, you can just come and watch!

Steven Lyons is a California-born, New Zealand-raised performer who has trained and performed comedy across the globe, including in London, Chicago, Boston, and the Caribbean. With a background in improv from renowned institutions like Second City Chicago and The Annoyance, Steven has performed with Second City Theatricals aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines and was part of the professional ensembles at ComedySportz Chicago and Laugh Out Loud Theater. Now based in Tāmaki Makaurau, he warms up audiences for TV shows like 7 Days and Taskmaster NZ, while also directing reality TV shows such as The Block NZ and Drag Race Down Under.
