Feeling under pressure? We've got just the ticket! The Cabaret Coven is back again and this time, we will rock you with sound and vision!

Fresh from our Marvel vs. DC nerdlesque extravaganza, we're returning to The Factory to bring you a tribute to iconic acts David Bowie and Queen. This show will bring you glittery, unique, gender-bending acts covering a range of art forms, all inspired by- and featuring the music of- these fabulous artists. The lineup is still to be finalised, but to give you an idea of what to expect our previous shows have featured creative, storytelling burlesque, drag, aerials and pole.

The Cabaret Coven creates space for up-and-coming performers to get stage time, as well as connect with experienced showfolk. We put on the shows we want to see- with performers of all ages and gender identities, doing acts that tell a story or take you on a journey. We're here to hold space for the weird and wonderful, from neo burlesque to drag kings to circus strangeness. This isn't your classic Dita Von Teese cabaret, but with Bowie and Queen as inspirations you can definitely expect a good dose of glamour. 

With a lineup of fabulous cabaret talent from around the motu, best dressed competition, and music from two of the greats, this is an R18 night of guaranteed shenanigans not to be missed.
