Born in Thailand, raised in Malaysia and Egypt, a Dunedin-based Third Culture Kid in her 20s revisits the people and places she’s supposed to call home.
Developed for the Ōtepoti Theatre Lab Playwrights Programme, ‘Patty with a WhY’ is a semi-autobiographical monologue written and performed by Patty Klinpibul. With direction and dramaturgy by Emily Duncan, this new extended version marks Patty’s first full-length solo show and Auckland debut.
‘Patty with a WhY’ promises wonder, laughter, a few tears, and hopefully some answers for your own WhYs!
