Filmmaker Dame Gaylene Preston talks about her book Gaylene’s Take with Upsurge Co-director and her co-writer on TV series Hope and Wire Dave Armstrong. Gaylene will talk about her five-decade filmmaking journey from making 8mm movies in an English mental hospital in the 1970s through her big films and documentaries including War Stories Our Mothers Never Told Us and My Year with Helen.
