Presented by the newly established Onstage Wānaka, this powerful production showcases the best of local talent and community theatre, bringing to life one of the greatest musicals ever written.

Set in Liverpool, Blood Brothers tells the emotional story of Mickey and Edward — twin brothers separated at birth, raised in completely different worlds. One grows up in hardship with their birth mother, Mrs. Johnstone; the other in privilege with a wealthy adoptive family. Their paths cross again in childhood, sparking an unbreakable friendship — unaware of their shared blood. But as life unfolds, class divides, fate intervenes, and tragedy looms.

With unforgettable songs, sharp humour, and a moving narrative, Blood Brothers explores themes of family, social inequality, and destiny. It’s a gripping, heartfelt experience — part musical, part drama, and 100% unforgettable.
