The Fondue Love Affair is a story in two parts, and full of heat, heart, and handmade magic. It begins in the colourful, art-filled studio of Karla Marie Ceramics, where guests are guided through a playful clay session to design and hand-build their very own fondue sets. With sweet treats and refreshments on hand, award-winning ceramicist Karla Marie will help each participant shape a vessel, crafted with care, and made to be shared. 

Two weeks later, the story continues with a candlelit chocolate fondue tasting hosted by Wellington’s beloved Barron Hasselhoff’s. Guests return to see their glazed and fired creations unveiled, now ready to be filled with warm, flowing chocolate. A luscious fondue bar awaits, featuring locally made milk, dark, and white chocolate alongside an indulgent spread of unexpected dippables—think fruit, marshmallows, cookies, and flavour twists like chilli, sea salt, or rosemary.

Price covers both sessions.

Ticket includes:  

•  1 x handmade ceramic fondue set, created by you in Part One and professionally glazed and kiln-fired at KMC Studios (yours to keep)
•  All materials and guided instruction for the handbuilding workshop (clay, tools, glaze/decorating options)
•  Studio refreshments during the making session, including light snacks and herbal teas
•  1 x ticket to the candlelit fondue experience two weeks later

​Fondue tasting by Barron Hasselhoff’s, including:

•  A choice from Three types of molten chocolate: dark, milk, and white (approx. 100ml per person)
•  A generous shared platter of sweet and savoury dippables (6–8 items per guest, e.g. seasonal fruit, marshmallows, cookies, and more)
•  1 x non-alcoholic paired drink (e.g. sparkling soda, kombucha, or a herbal tea)
•  A warm, sensory-rich atmosphere with flickering candles, clay, and chocolate-laced joy
