There are so many stories about Christmas, but no-one’s telling the story of the REAL holiday: Boxing Day. Why? Are they afraid? Or is it more likely the fact that there aren’t any Boxing Day stories to tell?

Join us in inventing the story of Boxing Day in an evening of narrative improv chaos! Choose Your Own (Boxing Day) Adventure! is an interactive improv show from Improverished, the beloved theatre company behind such shows as It's Alive! and Can I Get an Underground Location and a Mythical Creature?

Will our heroes brave the mall to get a deal in a boxing day sale? You choose! Will they take the tree down or let it rot? You choose! Will they sacrifice one present to the boxing day demon? You choose! The only guarantee is this will be the only, and by process of elimination, the best, Boxing Day themed show of the year!

Come for the holiday vibes, stay for the chaos as 3 of Tāmaki's most delightful improvisors bring this new story of Boxing Day to life. It's time to build a new holiday story, and what better way to do it than together.

Please note: This is an improv show and will involve audience participation in the form of voting! This show is a 'choose your own adventure' story so you get to choose the adventure. No audience members will be asked to come on stage and it's gonna be friendly vibes all round.
