As part of our special programming for Waitangi Week 2025, The Turner Centre is excited to present the Harmonic Resonators - a family band that blends Country Music with Waiata Māori. Their whanau vibe, Te Reo approachability, and beautiful harmonies have captured the hearts of New Zealanders and earned them a growing following.

The Harmonic Resonators currently play festivals, marae functions, and events with a positive community impact, all while holding down day jobs and families to keep them grounded. They travel with partners and babies in tow, ensuring they always place the important things first. If you get the chance to see them live - snap up the opportunity!

Soaring yodels, lush harmonies, hilarious banter, and a mighty singalong usually feature in shows, jams, and the videos that made them famous. The Resonators’ following is growing - have you checked them out?

With the opening performance by Taylah, a rising Māori artist from Kerikeri whose rich vocals and poetic lyricism blend soul, R&B, and neo-soul. With standout releases like Descendant and Okay, Taylah has performed alongside Dragon, Hollie Smith, and TOI, and recently joined Fly My Pretties as their newest member. Taylah is carving out her place as a compelling voice in the Aotearoa music scene.

This event has been made accessible and Choose-what-you-pay tickets are made possible by the generous support of the Bay of Islands - Whangaroa Community Board.
