The MLT Hokonui Fashion Design Awards are proud to be the longest running fashion design awards of their type in Aotearoa.

The awards are held in Gore in late July each year and attract interest and entries from throughout New Zealand. It provides a competitive platform for aspiring fashion designers to showcase their designs in front of well-regarded industry leaders. This year's judges include founder and creative director of Tuesday Label, Biddie Cooksley, creative director, stylist, and journalist Dan Awha, and returning judge Natalie Newlands, founder and creative director of New Lands Studio. 

In addition to this fabulous lineup of judges, the MLT Hokonui Fashion Design Awards team are ecstatic to welcome Antonia Prebble as compere of our Saturday Gala Evening.
