Takapuna Winter Lights will bring winter alive for four nights this July. This award winning, all-ages outdoor sensory experience is a free event in the heart of Takapuna that will delight and awe you with light installations, performances and music.

Takapuna Winter Lights is an annual highlight on the Auckland arts and cultural calendar held at Takapuna’s new Waiwharariki Anzac Square, 24-27 July 2025, thanks to the support of the Takapuna Beach Business Association, Auckland Council, Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, Angus Muir Design, Go Media, Mercury, Barfoot & Thompson, and funding partners including Aotearoa Gaming Trust, The Lion Foundation, Four Winds, and One Foundation.

Lights are on from 5-10pm, 24-27 July, get your session ticket, dress up warm, pop in for a bite to eat & drink at your favourite restaurants and bars, and let your senses guide you through Takapuna Winter Lights 2025. 

Please note: No ticket is required to enter Takapuna hospitality venues. Takapuna Winter Lights is a is a cashless event.
