The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra presents a stunning evening of orchestral brilliance, featuring a programme of some of history’s great composers.
From the first, instantly recognisable notes of Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No. 01, audiences will be transported to a serene and tranquil morning before they are then whisked away to the Viennese countryside with Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony — a beloved celebration of nature and harmony.
The concert also includes Haydn’s Symphony No. 100, with its ‘Military’ second movement and Briar Prastiti’s The Garden, a vibrant new work commissioned through the NZSO/SOUNZ Tarling Trust.
