Suitcase Show is an eclectic box set of short stories, each one told from within a suitcase. Crafted by the award-winning Trick of the Light Theatre, this dark, comic, and inventive show will take you on a journey through mystery, love, death, and the secrets we carry. From lo-fi shadow play to wireless projection, and even disembodied hands dancing to vintage stereo crackles, the staging is as unique as the stories themselves.

Developed through site-specific performances in unusual spaces - from pubs to photography darkroom - Suitcase Show explores the strange, unexpected experiences of travel and the untold narratives that unfold in our lives.

With an international reputation for creating inventive, small-scale theatre, Trick of the Light reunites multi-award-winning collaborators Hannah Smith, Ralph McCubbin Howell, and Emmy award-winning composer Tane Upjohn-Beatson. This stunning work is not to be missed.

On Stage at The Turner Centre from 13-14 March 2025
