In celebration of the 50 th anniversary of the NZ Gold Guitar Awards, the Gore Country Music Club invite you to daily screenings of their documentary film Capital of Country Music

Directed by Gore’s own Jenny Mitchell and Dunedin filmmakers Wade McClelland and Bradon McCaughey, Capital of Country Music chronicles the 50 year history of the Gore Country Music Club and tells an emotive musical story about the power of volunteering.

This film stars country music legends such as Dame Lynda Topp along with countless club members including Max and Coral McCauley, Kayla Mahon, Peter Cairns and Erica Byars. Suitable for all ages, the film will be playing daily throughout the 2025 Bayleys Tussock Country Festival.
