Everyone has a secret to reveal… and Detective Raven McAllister is determined to uncover the truth.

Set over one unforgettable night at a local karaoke bar, The Old Cold Hearts Club follows Detective McAllister as he observes a wild and intriguing cast of characters. As the songs roll on and secrets begin to surface, the detective inches closer to a revelation that will throw everyone - including himself - for a loop.

Presented by Silver Noodle Soup, this original production is created and performed by young disabled artists from Te Whanganui-a-Tara. SNS is a Wellington-based charitable trust where disabled people aged approximately 16–35 are fully included in the leadership and direction of all aspects of theatrical and cinematic creativity - from development and production to promotion and performance.

Guided by experienced theatre-makers Stevie Hancox-Monk, Madeline McNamara and Hannah Kelly, the ensemble brings humour, heart and mystery to the stage in a celebration of inclusive theatre-making.

Silver Noodle Soup has been creating original performance and film work across Wellington for several years, including opening Disability Pride Week in 2019 with a performance and film showcase at BATS Theatre.

Join us at Hannah Playhouse for a night of karaoke, secrets and surprises - where nothing is quite what it seems.

      Image description (alt text):

A theatrical poster for The Old Cold Hearts Club. The design has a film noir style with neon signage. On the left, a black-and-white image shows a serious-looking detective wearing a fedora, trench coat, and curled moustache, glancing over his shoulder. Behind him is a dark, misty street scene at night with shadowy figures and buildings.

Across the top and centre, bright neon-style lettering reads “Silver Noodle Soup Presents: The Old Cold Hearts Club.” The words “Old,” “Cold,” and “Club” appear in glowing neon box signs, while “Hearts” is written in a pink cursive neon script.

In the centre-right, white text reads: “Everybody’s hiding something. Some just hide it better.”

Along the bottom, text states: “Hannah Playhouse • Showing 11–18 April 2026.” Logos for The Hannah Playhouse, Creative New Zealand, IHC Foundation, and iTICKET appear underneath. The overall style combines classic detective imagery with colourful karaoke-bar neon lighting.
