The Royal New Zealand Air Force Band presents a recital of masterworks!

Renowned for its breathtaking ensemble playing and military precision, the RNZAF Band will perform music by some of the greatest composers of all time, including Mahler and Strauss.

Returning to the Gillies Group Theatre for the first time in nine years, the band will present a compelling collection of works under the accomplished artistic direction of Bandmaster Warrant Officer Ben Robertson. The programme also features music by Grammy-nominated composer and flautist Valerie Coleman, along with New Zealand composer Georgina Palmer and masters of the concert band genre, Frank Ticheli and James Barnes.
