Te Boil Up is a 'one night only' charity event bringing together some of Aotearoa's most recognisable Māori personalities, with te reo Māori front and centre!

 

Hosted by Chey Milne and Tiare Tawera, the evening will feature Hon. Shane Jones, Tamati Waaka, Raniera Procter, Ani-Piki Tuari, and more. Guided by our emcees, each of our manuhiri will take their turn at the boil. Be prepared for a night of fun, cheeky back and forth, and puku laughs from start to finish!

 

But this night is about more than just entertainment.

 

100% of ticket proceeds will be donated to three Ngā Kōhanga Reo across Aotearoa:

 

•⁠  ⁠Te Kōhanga Reo o Pā Arapeta – Panguru, Te Hiku o Te Ika

•⁠  ⁠Te Kōhanga Reo o Whatawhata – Te Puku o Te Ika

•⁠  ⁠Te Kōhanga Reo o Whakatipu Waimāori – Arrowtown, Te Waipounamu

 

Every ticket directly supports the places where our mokopuna are immersed in te reo Māori every day, helping strengthen the future of our language for generations to come.

•⁠  ⁠Doors open from 5.30pm, with kai timotimo and a cash bar available.

•⁠  ⁠⁠The show begins at 6.45pm, so arrive early, enjoy a bite to eat, and whakawhanaunga.

•⁠  ⁠The event will also be professionally filmed by Arataua Media and broadcast nationally on Whakaata Māori during Te Wiki o te Reo Māori.
