      Voices at the End
      John Psathas and Dawn Hardwick

Voices at the End is award-winning Greek/New Zealand composer John Psathas’ powerful statement about the state, and the future, of civilisation. Drawing on the words of extraordinary poets, writers, and thinkers, their voices are projected as a constantly unfolding haiku, woven with original film, virtuosic live performance, and an epic cinematic soundtrack.

Featuring two bold works - Voices at the End and Second-Hand Time - pianist Dawn Hardwick (UK) performs within a rich sound and video world, creating an exhilarating multi-sensory experience.

Equal parts concert, cinema, and social commentary, this deeply moving work challenges the status quo and sparks empathy, imagination, and urgent conversations about our shared future.

Performance will be followed by a post-show talk.

This performance includes images, video and text projected onto a large screen behind the performers.

All access tickets are $20. Companion tickets are free. For more information and to book access tickets, please contact access@festival.co.nz or phone (04) 473 0149 to book.
