Oscar-nominated CAREFREE (1938) reunites Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire in a musical screwball comedy with music by Irving Berlin. Centring on a love-struck psychiatrist (Astaire) and his indecisive patient (Rogers), CAREFREE is perhaps the famous duo’s funniest movie. Musical highlights include a dashingly dressed Astaire hitting golf balls while dancing, romantic "I Used to Be Color Blind" ending in a rather long kiss (a rarity in a Ginger & Fred movie), and goofy - but iconic - dance "The Yam".
