NGARO/ERTACH is an interdisciplinary dance show that reimagines ritual traditions of belonging to reconcile the dismemberment from ancestral bodies of land.

On a sonic meeting ground the body is adorned as an ancestral interface, serving as a vessel of connection. Through dance, a dialogue is had. 

Ngaro is a kupu Māori that translates to ‘missing, hidden, disappeared, lost'.

Ertach is a Cornish word meaning ‘heritage’.

A collaboration between Ehetere Rua, Kensa Munroe & friends.
