      SoundCathedral
with The Tudor Consort, Stroma and The Rangatuone Ensemble

From the creative genius of composer-curator Michael Norris comes SoundCathedral, an immersive performance installation that will transform the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul into a living, breathing soundscape.

This evocative concert weaves the ethereal polyphony of Orlando di Lasso with contemporary instrumental textures from Aotearoa.

Featuring one of New Zealand’s premier chamber choirs The Tudor Consort, acclaimed contemporary music ensemble Stroma, and the Rangatuone Ensemble, a taonga puoro collective led by Dr. Riki Pirihi, you are encouraged to explore the cathedral as musicians perform throughout the space.

A meditative and moving sound experience.
