Urge is coming to Christchurch Otautahi to celebrate Pride 2026 in conjunction with Q Events and Your Ex magazine.

URGE doesn’t just throw parties; we craft transformative experiences that celebrate the raw, unbridled essence of gay culture. Let’s dance and celebrate our authentic selves! 

URGE tips:

• Doors open at 9:00 PM.
• Door sales are limited and $60 (cash only) if the event has not sold out prior.
• Peak times: Queues can form if everyone arrives at once. We work to get you in quickly, so please be patient and courteous to our staff. 
• 4 areas to dance, chill or play.
• Dark Room: Located out back. Explore it if you’re feeling adventurous!

Event Rules:

• This is a safe space: Have fun, be kind, spread love and look out for each other. 
• Follow instructions: Listen to staff and volunteers – they’re there to keep everyone safe. Ignoring their directions may result in removal from the event. 
• ZERO tolerance for harassment: This includes racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism, misgendering, xenophobia, ableism and fatphobia. 
• CONSENT IS KEY: Consent must be explicit and enthusiastic and can be withdrawn at any time.
