Cabaret Coven is back at Factory for our third year, and to celebrate we’re bringing you a sequel to our very first show, the sci-fi extravaganza Garters of the Galaxy! 

Garters of the Galaxy 2 will take you on a journey through all things sexy, silly, and science fiction. Strange planets, alien life-forms, spaceships, and watch out for UFOs (Unidentified Fabulous Objects).  Get ready for burlesque, drag, acrobatics and more from the final frontier, here to make you laugh, think, and get you a little steamed up in your spacesuit. 

Since the original Garters show, the Cabaret Coven has been proud to bring performers of all genders, shapes, sizes, ages and ethnicities to the stage, winning a Fringe Award for Best Ensemble, and winning over audiences. Garters of the Galaxy 2 brings that same blend of fabulousness our audiences have come to expect, but this is sci-fi, so expect the unexpected! We’re packing everything from the MCU to vintage sci-fi, with lots of surprises in store. 

Featuring rising stars and guiding lights from the cabaret scene all over Aotearoa, and of course our best-dressed competition this show promises to be a bigger treat than fresh strawberries after months of dried protein paste.
