It is said that the creation of life itself began with vibration. Prepare for an activation of sound, breath, storytelling, and connection.
Te Pū o te Oro invites you to bring a yoga mat or cushion and get comfortable for an immersive, floor-based experience that awakens the senses and encourages a deeper exploration of our inner worlds.
Join artists and channels Renata Tane, Ariana Howell, Kelly Kahukiwa and Hana-May Riedlinger-Kapa as they share ancestral wisdom through purakau (traditional Maori storytelling), poetry and taonga puoro (traditional Maori instruments).
The heart of the experience is an extended taonga pūoro sound journey, where the ancient voices of these instruments guide participants through a meditative landscape of vibration, breath and deep listening.
Come to listen.
Come to feel.
Come to reconnect with the vibrations that move through us all.
