Celebrate 25 years of extraordinary music with The Graduate Choir NZ at our Silver Jubilee Concert.

Join us for a jubilant evening in the magnificent setting of Holy Trinity Cathedral, Parnell, as the choir marks its 25th anniversary with a programme of glorious choral music. The concert features distinguished guests baritone James Harrison and organist David Burchell (Dunedin), alongside a rich and celebratory repertoire.

Highlights include Herbert Howells’ radiant Te Deum and Jubilate, Karl Jenkins’ spirited Exsultate, Jubilate, along with David Hamilton’s evocative Karanga, written for the choir’s 2005 UK tour.  As well, there will be audience favourites from Finzi, J L Bach, Mendelssohn, Antognini, Tschesnokoff, Vaughan Williams and others.  Of special interest will be the appearance of the award-winning male-voice choir from Mt Albert Grammar School – The Centennial Choir.

The programme will feature the world première of When Music Sounds – a newly-commissioned work for double choir, baritone soloist, piano and organ by choir member Chris Artley, written especially for this milestone celebration.
