It all takes place on Queen’s Wharf in the iconic Shed 10 with music and entertainment to keep you entertained.

Wine AKL operates on a philosophy that everyone has a favourite wine and our job is to help you find yours. Even our resident DJ, Murray Sweetpants, is more than qualified, once ticking over 101 cellar doors in a year (don’t miss the run down on his favourites on Saturday night in Wine 101). Did we mention that even our dancers are wine obsessed? Getting to grips with a great bouquet and wine-fuelled passion from the lofty perspective of the top of a barrel… it’s all here at Wine AKL!

A delicious element of Wine AKL is the masterclasses in the Connoisseurs Lounge, present by Delonghi, and hosted by kiwi and international wine experts - including Nick Stock (AUS), Jorge Nunes (Portugal) Bob Campbell MW (NZ) and Yvonne Lorkin (NZ). Explore rich flavours from around the world plus the stars of our gorgeous homegrown vineyards. 

Alternatively, you can learn food and wine matching tips from the city’s leading restaurateurs and sommeliers including The Grove, Clooney, MASU, Monsoon Poon and Wine Chambers.
