Battle of the Ballroom returns for two glittering nights of performance, elegance, and purpose — all in support of Hospice Mid-Northland.

Watch as a group of brave first-time amateur dancers take to the stage after months of training with professional instructors. Each dancer performs the same choreographed routine across both nights, bringing their passion, nerves, and heart to the dance floor for a cause that matters.

Friday Night – People’s Choice Showdown:
The audience votes live to crown the People’s Choice Award winner. Come and cheer for your favourite dancer — your vote helps decide who takes home the crowd’s glory!

Saturday Night – The Grand Finale:
The pressure is on as our panel of judges scores each routine and announces the overall Battle of the Ballroom Champion.

Expect dazzling lighting, flowing gowns, standing ovations — and a few happy tears. This black-tie event is more than a show — it’s a celebration of courage, community, and care. All proceeds go toward hospital liaison nurse delivering specialist palliative care across Mid-Northland.
